Hello,

How do I know whether a particular APAR ( Authrized Problem Analysis Report ) is applied on my Websphere installation ? I am using WebSphere Application Server V6.0.2.19 on AIX 5L 5.3.
Thanks.

Regards,
Bhushan.

Hi, You can check through through the Admin Console.

Go to Application Servers -> <your server> -> runtime tab -> Product Information.

From there you can check e-fixes, history, etc.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the quick response. It's really helpful.
Is there a way to obtain the same information from command-line i.e. using commands or shell scripts ??
Thanks again.

Regards,
Bhushan.

Hi,

There is a small shell script under <WAS_HOME>/bin/historyInfo.sh that will generate a long list of components updated. The <WAS_HOME>/bin/versionInfo.sh will show the current level of WebSphere and the directories being used.
